Well Winterkissin' was my project to work on this week, with the hopes that the top can be done in time to baste it on my mum and dad's kitchen floor when I go down to see them in a couple of weeks. With 4 blocks done before Christmas in black and green, I had 8 left to do, plus some special 'keystones', and armed with a new 20 1/2" square ruler, I was all set to start churning them out. Here's what I made this weekend:
Since I spent a good chunk of the weekend helping someone move and cleaning, I was happy enough to get these done, so fingers crossed I'll be finished before I have to head south. I might have to give in on completing my other Indie Star this month though, ah well, c'est la vie, unexpected weekends happen!

I love the colours in that fabric line.
ReplyDeleteLove these - so cheery!

ReplyDeleteLooking good. I desperately want to work on my winterkist quilt but I have a lace shawl to finish knitting. This post isn't helping but I'll continue being good :)

your blocks look great and have spurred me on. I just folded and put away the FQ stack of winterkist that I won a few months ago
ReplyDeleteThis is a great block pattern for the gnomes. So much charm!
ReplyDeleteThose are great blocks for this fabric, I am watching as I have a stack of my own to use for something fun sometime soon.
ReplyDeleteOh, I can't wait to see these come together! Winterkist is such a darling line, I hate that most of mine is gone. It's on sale here and there, but the gnoma Clauses are hard to find.
